"Wednesday"
Today was rather uneventful.
I got more excitement than I wanted on my way home from work, however, when a car drove up behind me really fast, and then passed me in a no-passing zone at about 50 mph. He then cut in front of a vehicle that had pulled out into traffic ahead of me, causing that driver to slam on the brakes, in turn forcing me to stop suddenly (well, skid my wheels 'til I stopped).
The driver then turned at the next stop sign, and sped up the street. I wasn't able to see where he went, but I called 911 anyway with my best description. I drove around a bit, hoping to catch a glimps of the vehicle, but no luck. While talking to the emergency dispatcher, my phone battery died, causing her to call back & leave a message. I returned her call after charging my phone a bit, finishing my complaint about the insane driver who nearly caused a several car pile-up.
He probably got away with it, though I did see a police car driving around. Cops around here are notorious for not following through on complaints, so I'm not expecting anything to happen. I will keep an eye out for that driver & his car in the future.
Today, my boss had some sort of singing group (barbershop quartet sort of thing, it seems, or maybe it was a trio) come to the office & serenade his wife for Valentine's Day. Everyone thought that was nice of him, especially his wife. She actually seemed a bit embarrassed by all the attention, but for my employer's sake, I hope she enjoyed it. They seem to have a good relationship, which is nice to see these days. So many people don't get along, that it seems the norm.
Something to learn from & something to wish for.
So ends this day.

So much for a V day report! :) Glad you are ok!
I suppose I can look at it this way - I'm saving all my romantic inspiration for that special someone... someday. I pray she won't find it overwhelming! :D
p.s., thanks for checking in on me ;)
