Amazing


It's astounding what God will do to wake us up - to get us to see what we're doing wrong, where we turned astray, etc.

However,I wonder... Since God is omniscient, why can't He just do what He knows will shake us awake & return us to His will and way of living?

But then, we'd be no better than automatons - we'd only be doing what we were "forced" to do. We'd have no opportunity to exercise our free will.

If that were the case, how would He take joy in seeing us, His dear & precious children, come to see things the way He sees them?

I know He knows what He's doing - I just have to consistently trust Him.
