Longing

So while cleaning up my spam folder, I noticed a message from Riversongs titled "You have an Ecard from a Neighbor" or some such nonsense. I'd never heard of Riversongs before, so I loaded their site to see if it was real.

While browsing the thousands (or close) of cards they offer, I happened upon this one (I have a thing for teddy bears).

It's very sweet, and though it's probably intended for couples who are temporarily apart, I looked at it from (my) single (& optimistic) point of view - that although we have not met yet, God has chosen someone for me and someday we will meet.
So tonight, I'll say another prayer, and wish upon a star for the day when we won't be lonely any more.
