After two weeks, I'm able to relax...kinda

I don't like holidays much, at least not when they occur during the week. Yes, I get one day's vacation, but then I have to get 5 days' worth of work done in 3! I have to fill in for a co-worker to help him catch up on his work because of the day off we all get.
Then with all the weekend shelf-stocking work I do, I don't get a break all weekend with all the extra sales, and all the extra people getting soda for the holidays.
At least I have a larger-than-normal paycheck to look forward to afterwards.

My pets are all doing well, and I have enough projects to do around the house, not to mention all the upkeep a house requires. I wish I did have more free time to do those things, but I'd probably sleep too much then :)

I keep hoping for some real winter weather around here! It has snowed two or three times, but then it warms up & all or at least most of the snow melts. There are small mounds of snow here & there, but they are barely noticeable.

Umm, other than that, not much to mention..

Oh, a friend is visiting tomorrow, so that we can celebrate Christmas/open gifts/have holiday-type snacks :) Then I will have to get to bed early so I don't end up working all day long on Sunday. That really wears me out.

Okay, off to chat a while, then bedtime for me!
