It seems I am what I am because of my ancestry. Interesting.
Perhaps we can never escape our roots. But now I know the problem, and can work to re-mold myself (to the extent I wish to be re-molded, that is - I am fairly comfortable with who I am (just not comfortable with who I am not with)).
